Where Bathroom Money Actually Goes

In most bathrooms the price swings on three things: whether fixtures move, how much tile goes up and what kind of shower you build. Your estimate shows each separately, so a splurge in one spot can be balanced by a plainer choice in another.

Once the room is finished, a one-year warranty applies to our work in it.

What We Build

  • Shower or Tub Work

A new tub, a tiled walk-in shower or a tub-to-shower conversion, with the waterproofing behind the tile that keeps the walls and framing sound.

  • Surfaces and Fixtures

Tile on the walls and floor, plus the vanity, mirror, faucets, toilet and lighting, each listed with its price so you can compare options side by side.

  • Ventilation

An exhaust fan matched to the room's size and ducted outdoors, so steam from every shower leaves the house instead of soaking into paint, grout and framing.

Two Things to Settle First

  • Fixtures in Place, or Moved

Leaving the toilet, shower and sink where they are keeps costs down. Moving them means opening the floor to reroute drains, which adds labor and time to the job.

  • One Full Bath in the House?

Mention it on the first call. We can plan the order of work around a working toilet, and you'll know in advance which days the shower is out of service.

Asked About Bathrooms

  • How long is a bathroom out of use?

Plan on a few weeks of work, and start counting only when every piece you picked is on site. Relocated drains and made-to-measure shower glass stretch it, and your schedule shows by how much.

  • Can I pick my own tile and fixtures?

Yes. Tell us what you've picked and you'll get the quantities and a need-by date for each piece. The estimate marks which items you're supplying and which we are.

What Would You Change First?

A cramped shower, a vanity with no storage, grout that never looks clean. Tell us what's wrong now and we'll talk through what fixing it involves and which choices cost the most.
